Parents’ Involvement : PTM
Education is not the imparting of skills and knowledge. Considering what is happening in this country, and the world at large, a new generation that cares for life and the environment and is free of religious and nationalistic divisions must come forward. Education in this wider sense cannot be accomplished only by the school. It is necessary for parents to collaborate with educators to co-create this system. Visiting the school at least once a term and attending Parent-Teacher Meetings is mandatory. Parents must strengthen the efforts of the school to inculcate certain moral and ethical values, by observing its rules and regulations. We encourage a simple, frugal lifestyle. Expensive clothes and accessories, money, ornaments, and electronic gadgets like cell phones and personal music systems are not allowed on campus. Possession of cash is strictly prohibited. Students may bring a small amount of foodstuff that should last no more than a week when they come back from holidays. It is important for the student as well as the parents to adhere to these regulations and understand the value of simple living.
